The Colorado Carbon Fund (CCF) helps individuals, business owners and event planners measure, reduce, and offset their carbon emissions. The CCF is the first and only statewide voluntary offset program in the U.S., focusing its support on greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction projects in Colorado that produce permanent, verifiable carbon offsets.
First, we ask individuals, businesses, and event planners to use our online calculators to measure the greenhouse gas emissions from their energy use, driving and air travel.
Next, we give individuals, businesses, and event planners some simple ideas about how they can monitor and reduce their GHG emissions.
Finally, for the emissions that can’t be controlled, we provide tax deductible offsets through our voluntary offset program.
Through our outreach programs, we inform the public about energy efficiency, help fund community-based renewable energy projects, and support educational initiatives that help Coloradans of all ages to lower energy consumption.
When you contribute to the CCF, your tax-deductible donation helps fund GHG reduction projects in local Colorado communities. All of our offset projects are and will always be verified to the highest standard.
Do your part today to reduce your carbon footprint and you will be promoting environmental health, supporting the Colorado economy, and encouraging energy independence.
You have the will. We have the way.
